Chief Court Mahfud MD Prita Mulyasari glad finally free from all lawsuits. Freedom Prita reflect justice."I'm glad Prita been released. Former members of this House did not make use of the ITE Act to sue for defamation over the internet. However, in the case Prita, which must be emphasized is the truth and justice.
"That's what ITE is written in the law is correct rule but not a problem Prita Act. But the problem of truth and sense of justice. Is it right to slander and Prita already complaining?" Mahfud said.
Mahfud agree if the Act was revised ITE. Revise UU ITE can be done through the mechanism of the House.
"Law is constitutional. Although not constitutionally changed. But it is not the place but in the legislature," he added.
Mahfud also added ITE Act does not conflict with Article 28 paragraph 2 of Act 1945 related to freedom of speech. "Since the article was not limited by the Act, including the Luna Maya as the case like that," said Mahfud.
